Full-Dome projection
On the occasion of the Ringstrasse Anniversary and the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna WienTourismus staged a multi-media piece of art. ViennaSphere is an inflatable 360° projection dome with a diameter of 22 m. Vienna presents itself in a series of real images and exciting 3D computer presentations lasting about 15 minutes. The projection is topped off by an exclusive recording of Conchita Wurst performing “Rise like a Phoenix” with which she won the Eurovision Song Contest for Austria in 2014. The content was produced by the Vienna artist collective Neon Golden, while our partner Vioso performed the perfect alignment and playback of the 360° projection using Wings Vioso.
