Mercury Tower

World’s first Digital Signage Record in Russian Book of Records

Some might have already heard of the Mercury City Tower in Moscow, Russia: According to the “Emporis” analysis it is the tallest building of Europe being 29 meters taller than London’s skyscraper “The Scard”. Now this building became holder of another record: The highest resolution of an indoor video wall. The record was awarded for a video wall installed in the lobby area of the Mercury City Tower which has a total native resolution of 42346x2304 pixels. This record has been realized thanks to our system Wings AV.

The video wall at Mercury City Tower consists of 93 single displays which are driven by a cluster of 24 Wings Engines. The media server cluster delivers 93 dedicated perfectly synchronized video signals to the 93 displays. The system is able to show virtually any kind of high resolution content being pictures, videos, graphics and real time information retrieved from news and social media.

Planning and on-site installation of this project was performed by DigiSky who are one of the leading companies, providing turnkey solutions in the DOOH field, music and audio spots services, audio branding for clients among the retail, retail real estate,  QSR, HORECA, fitness industry, banks and hotels sectors all over Russia and the CIS countries.
