It was kept top secret until the actual event, but on the 14th of April Barco Virtual World at the AED Studios had quite a premiere. JBC, the Belgian clothing manufacturer annex Store chain, presented its new fashion line, designed by the famous Belgian singer, Axelle Red. Earlier, JBC shot a fashion show in the desert and on Route 66 near Los Angeles, using 9 HD cameras in a 360 degrees conguration.

In the presence of the fashion press, JBC employees and Axelle Red’s friends, the recorded fashion show was projected on a continuous 360 degrees display screen at AED Studios’ Barco Virtual World by 10 Barco HDX-W20 HD projectors fed by 4 AV Stumpfl Wings "Stage Quad" Media servers. The audience was immersed in a 360 degrees Virtual experience, as if they were in the desert or on the shoulder of Route 66 themselves…

The guests and press, including Axelle Red, were treated to a wall to wall projection, being in the middle of the action without being there, sipping their glass of champagne, enjoying the bigger than life show.
