AV Stumpfl supports Digital Projection at I/ITSEC 2015

Wallern, Austria, November 2015: In what is set to be the most breathtaking presentation of visual systems display technology to date, AV Stumpfl® large-format Fullwhite and Curve screens will be used by Digital Projection International (DPI) for their tradeshow booth 970 at I/ITSEC 2015.

Various aspect ratios will be presented ranging from 4:3 to 1.89:1 and 16:10 replicating real-world training scenarios including high-resolution Night Vision Goggle IR stimulated training for day to night-time simulation. All screens are supported and provided by AV Stumpfl’s Americas partner, AV Stumpfl USA.

Phil Laney, director of visualization and simulation at DPI says: “AV Stumpfl screens will help to show our latest projection technology including our INSIGHT 4K Dual-LED projectors, M-Vision WUXGA LED Projector and E-Vision 8500 Laser Projectors.”

Tobias Stumpfl, CEO at AV Stumpfl adds: “Each screen is custom made for its intended application and is backed by an experienced team of local experts. We’re delighted that they will be used on the Digital Projection I/ITSEC booth and we’re sure the solutions presented will appeal to those looking for training scenarios of any size or complexity, from civil aviation to aerospace, education, security, training and operations.”

All AV Stumpfl screens are easy to set up and store and have a robust and failsafe design for installations running 24/7 in low-ambient light levels. Current range of screens include:
• Curve Screens for any virtual environment including 360-degree immersive installations requiring eye-limiting detail, accuracy and precision.
• Multi Panel screens for training environments that require a flat projection surface.
• In tight installation environments or where real-estate is key, Fullwhite® screens are designed to take the projected image right to the very edge. Fullwhite is also available in curved screen format. (Fullwhite® Curve).

The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is the world's largest modeling, simulation, and training conference and will be held at the Orlando County Convention Center between 30 – 4 December 2015.
