Detroit Autoshow 2014
Nissan Booth
Wings Vioso returns to the North American International Auto Show 2014.
The North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan had many new reveals for auto makers this year for one of the most successful shows in over 6 years. XL Video and Wings Vioso returned this year to support the Nissan booth and was also powering the Infinity booth as well.
The Nissan booth required the power of the WingsEngine Stage this year with a playback map of over 5,500 pixels wide. With the butt edged LED pixels and a very dynamic, fast moving media in a lossless Animation codec, the genlocked outputs and power of the WingsEngine Stage was essential. Using Wings Touch for the iPad, presenters are now able to control all aspects of the show and their presentations. Keeping the vehicle demonstrations dynamic is a key feature of the Passionate Presenter, and Wings Touch is certainly the way to go. The product specialists can now tailor their performance to their own personality and even the demographics of the guests watching. Show control is even administered by the iPad with the turntable button and lighting commands.
New for 2014, XL Video needed a playback device for the Infinity booth that offered the same high powered functions for genlocking the outputs, synchronization, and playback of lossless video. Infinity required more than 4,000 pixels wide for one of the largest LED screens provided at the Auto Show.
With a combination of both a low res outer screen and hi-res inner screen that edged together, synchronization was the key and the WingsEngine Stage was the solution.
