AED Display goes LIVE with AV Stumpfl at IBC 2015

Wallern, Austria, September 2015: Austrian engineering company, AV Stumpfl® announced that 15 brand new Wings Engine Raw multi-stream uncompressed 4K60 media servers and 80 VarioClip® mobile projection screens were purchased by audiovisual equipment banker AED Display.

AED Display signed an official agreement at IBC 2015 with further investments planned for 2016.

Europe-wide uncompressed 4K playout

Set to make its global debut at IBC 2015, Wings Engine Raw is the first and only multi-stream 4K uncompressed media server and <link http: avstumpfl.com www.aedgroup.eu external-link-new-window>AED Display is the first company to sign a significant order.

The AV Stumpfl <link internal-link internal link in current>Wings Engine Raw is capable of delivering constant data stream of 4-channels of true 4K (4,096 x 2,304 pixels) uncompressed video content at 60fps plus up to 16 text and picture layers, and up to 24 uncompressed audio streams. The server removes the need to convert content into any intermediate codec format. Content can include native picture sequences such as TGA or TIFF and even instant PNG image format processing.
