LED Videowall

As a special highlight Panasonic installed a video wall with 25 displays at its booths at the Integrated Systems Fair in Amsterdam. The new Panasonic TH-55LFV50 55" LED FullHD displays with their narrow bezels are perfectly suited for creating a display wall. The actual task was to play content at native resolution on this 25-monitor wall. This installation was realised using 25 HD Players Pro by AV Stumpfl. These solid state players allow perfect syncing on the network and thus reliable operation and jerk-free playback of images.

The content was prepared by Christian Horn using Wings Vioso. Videos and high-resolution photographs were moved softly on the displays at full resolution and placed very accurately on the individual displays. Due to the sufficiently high resolution of the images, the video wall was projected on effectively at the native resolution of 9600 x 5400 pixels. Wings Vioso ensured virtual compensation for the narrow bezels and direct rendering of the 25 split videos at 1920 x 1080 px with a few clicks only. The finished videos were then copied onto SD cards and distributed to the fully configured HD Players Pro.
Marco Schulz, Product Manager Professional Displays at Panasonic was thrilled by this solution: "Panasonic and AV Stumpfl are such a perfect match. The customer requires reliable and sustainable hardware for professional applications. We are also looking forward to using AV Stumpfl HD players ourselves for upcoming events and shows".
