AV Stumpfl® to present PIXERA media server software version 1.0 and to show innovative projection screen systems at ISE 2019

AV Stumpfl, the acclaimed Austrian AV technology manufacturer, will present their latest projection screen products and version 1.0 of their next-generation media server system PIXERA at the ISE 2019 in Amsterdam.

PIXERA is a 64-bit system for real-time media processing, compositing and management, built around the key theme of usability.

Users can gradually discover the options and features and can smoothly transition from being a beginner to becoming a specialist.

Actions in the 2D and 3D space follow the same mechanisms. The system was designed so that users can execute the most important basic actions in record time and with minimum effort.

A radical new interface logic enables even first-time users to intuitively understand the main software mechanics.

Entering the world of professional media playout solutions has never been easier.

With PIXERA, AV Stumpfl combines one of the most powerful render engines in media server history with a groundbreaking new interface approach.

AV Stumpfl GmbH CEO Tobias Stumpfl explains the reasons for developing the new media server software: "After carefully analysing the current media server market for quite a while, we came to the conclusion that we needed a radical new approach in order to truly take media server usability to the next level. We are very proud of what our development team achieved in the last two years. Using PIXERA, entering the world of professional media playout solutions has never been easier. This general ease-of-use does not mean however that there is no depth to the software. The great flexibility with which users can manipulate content in a true 3D space is just one example which shows that PIXERA is a powerful tool which will inspire a great number of AV professionals at ISE."

Some of the highlights of PIXERA include:

1.         Extremely user-friendly GUI
2.         Seamless integration of 2D and 3D spaces for fast show programming, compositing and warping/projection mapping.
3.         Integrated projector and LED display databases for drag and drop pre-configuration
4.         Flexible and powerful API that allows external applications to build on PIXERA features
5.         Supports NDI streaming
6.         Powerful render engine for ultra high resolution content

In addition to launching the new PIXERA software, AV Stumpfl will also present their new PIXERA one and PIXERA two media server systems and a prototype of the upcoming PIXERA mini.

The new media server models are compact all-around solutions that use the latest processor technology and offer many à la carte options for specifying hardware components, input cards and/or software upgrades.

PIXERA one and PIXERA two both support the new FLEX input card technology.

PIXERA one is a compact 1U server model, that can play back uncompressed 4K at 60fps. With a depth of only 45cm, the PIXERA one is perfect for installation environments. PIXERA one is available with 2 or 4 outputs.

PIXERA two is a 2U server model that is similar to the PIXERA one in many ways but offers more customization options and a redundant power supply. PIXERA two is available with 2, 4 or 8 outputs.

PIXERA mini is a flexible and ultra-compact media player unit, perfect for digital signage and small to large multi-display applications.

ISE visitors will be able to enjoy a short video content and projection mapping show at the AV Stumpfl booth, courtesy of the award winning Portuguese creative studio OCUBO, with PIXERA being used as the playout system.

AV Stumpfl will also give ISE visitors a system preview of the upcoming AT64-SHIFT screen system leg.

Based on the same principles as the highly successful T32-SHIFT, the AT64-SHIFT can be used for much larger mobile projection screens.

The T32-SHIFT projection screen leg makes it possible for just one person to easily adjust a mobile projection screen's height, without having to disassemble it first.

No extra measuring is needed to ensure that the frame is level, due to a clearly marked height scale.

The T32-SHIFT is compatible with AV Stumpfl's Monoblox32 and MonoClip32 projection screen frames, which means it can easily be combined with existing AV Stumpfl screen systems.

Using the T32-SHIFT, it takes less than five minutes to assemble and adjust an AV Stumpfl mobile projection screen system, including height adjustments.

AV Stumpfl® GmbH will exhibit at the ISE show in Amsterdam, between February 5th and February 8th at Booth #1-H5, 1-H10, Amsterdam RAI, Netherlands.
