SC Net stands for a flexible and modular bus control system that allows control of a variety of media.The new and versatile SC Net modular system solves virtually any media control problem in a highly flexible and smart way.  Various modules are available for different output/input requirements.  The clear advantage of this system  lies in the installation. One single signal line links up all SC Net modules  with one SC MASTER. Even the power is supplied via this line.  The compact dimensions of this module permit the unit to be located next to the devices to be controlled and further connecting cables can be kept very short.

Features

  • Bi-directional bus system with error-protected data transfer. The data rate is adjusted dynamically to match the corresponding application.
  • Any number of SC Net Modules can be operated on one single line. All modules have one input
  • and one output for the SC Net each and are connected in series (daisy chaining).
  • For the signal line a standard CAT5 cable is used.
  • A maximum length of up to 1,000 m is possible.
  • The SC Net Modules are confi gured via the SC MASTER or via the control software Wings Vioso or Iseo.
  • As a rule, the power is supplied via the SC Net cabling. For special applications, the modules can also be supplied externally.
  • The modules can be installed in 19” racks via rack adapters or in situ. Larger distances between the individual modules are bridged via SCNet cables.

SC OPEN COLLECTOR 16OUT

Module with 16 open collector switch outputs for switching any type of load. Opencollector switches are particularly suited for high switching frequencies, as they are non-wearing compared to relays.

SC OPEN COLLECTOR 32OUT

Module with 32 open collector outputs for switching any type of load. Open-collector
switches are particularly suited for high switching frequencies, as they are nonwearing
compared to relays.

  • Maximum load current of all contacts: 4 groups of 1,000 mA each

SC ANALOG 8OUT

This module allows control of room illumination, floodlights, servo motors and other devices operated with 0 to 10 V DC. It has 8 control channels.

  • Output type: Voltage output 0-10V, 10-bit resolution (approx. 10mV steps)

SC SERIAL 4IN-OUT

This module has four configurable RS232 outputs/inputs for controlling any type of components with the corresponding interfaces, such as, for example, professional CD players, DVD players, video recorders, data projectors, displays, etc.

SC DMX 512OUT

This module features an output for light control in accordance with a DMX512 protocol. For every unit up to 512 channels can be controlled. This means that even demanding stage shows can be implemented.

SC REMOTE 16IN-OUT

By combining switch inputs and outputs for one optical acknowledgement (LED) per channel make this module an ideal unit for any type of external control (e.g. keypad for fixed installations, limit switch, feedback signals, buttons, other switching contacts).

  • Inputs: Digital inputs with hysteresis, ON when 7 VDC are exceeded, OFF when signal falls below 3 VDC. Maximum input voltage 12 VDC
  • Input impedance: 5 kOhm
  • Outputs: Control of light emitting diodes, 20 mA per channel
